Fancy a change? On Saturday nights you're free to bring or order your own takeaway to the pub! Feel comfortable to have the food of your choice, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy any of our different events. All we ask is that you buy your drinks from the bar as usual, for as long as you want to stay with us. (The longer the better!) We have a range of menus from favourite takeaways in the pub.

The Stags Head has been part of our family run business for over 23 years and is a traditional English village pub offering a wide range of traditional ales, lagers, wines and spirits, together with a fine selection of home produced meals. If you prefer something non-alcoholic, a full range of soft drinks plus tea and coffee are also available

Dating back to the year 1640, The Stag’s Head is a Grade II listed building adorned atop by its traditional thatched roof and retaining many original features including its visible classic timber frame and flagstone floors
The pub was founded in 1830 and was the original meeting place for Joseph Arch (founder of the Trade Union Movement)
